Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work generally includes playground equipment and fall surfacing, paving, concrete wall and guardrail, prefab restroom building, park shelter, splash pad, utilities, site furnishings, ornamental fencing, and landscaping. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract. All inquiries, outside of the pre-bid meeting (if one is held), that concern the bid request shall be submitted in writing to Upland Design Ltd. via email to info@uplandDesign.com and mblood@uplandDesign.com, and ajohnson@uplandDesign.com All contracts for work herein are subject to all Village and Park District rules and regulations and providing for the payment of Lake County's prevailing wage rate to all workers involved in these projects. All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The Round Lake Area Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the District.
