Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Olathe, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following: Approximately 850 LF of 8"-12" CIPP, 16 CIPP service lateral connections, 1,122 LF of 8"-12" pipe bursting, replacement of 2 manholes, rehabilitation of 1 manhole, 36 service lateral connections, approximately 85 LF service lateral replacement, 10 LF curb and gutter replacement, and removal and replacement of fencing. Question & Answer deadline Feb 13, 2024 (Tue), 5:00 PM All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be entered on line An Owner's Contingency Allowance (Set) determined by the City will be included within the Schedule of Values for this project. The Owner's Allowance shall be bid at $100,000. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid for work shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Olathe, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
