Lengths, Quantities, Coating: Provide a price per foot for Aluminized Coated Corrugated Steel Culvert Pipe, Type 1 (Groups 1, 2, 5 and 6), and Polymer Coated Corrugated Steel Culvert Pipe, Type 1 (Groups 3, 4, 7 and 8), for round and ERS shaped pipes for the diameters of: 12", 15", 18", 24", 30", 36", 48" and 60". The lengths of pipe shall be for 26 feet lengths and a variable length of 27 to 50 foot lengths which shall be continuously rolled. All pipes specifications shall meet Articles 542 and 1006 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Also, provide a price for the same sizes for 2' Rolled Bands, 1 each, including fasteners (Group 9). Quantity of Pipe: The actual quantities required will vary as needed by the Lee County Highway Department. This contract shall set a unit price for the cost of the said material. The department shall request the amount of material as it is needed at the contract unit price. All awarded contract unit prices shall be effective through December 31, 2024. Bid Price: The Bid unit price shall include all materials and labor to fabricate pipe culverts, including the bands as required per the specifications. The bid unit price shall also include delivery costs. Prices shall be submitted per foot based upon a 26 ft. length and for pipe lengths 27 ft. to 50 ft. All qualified culvert bid prices will be accepted. Delivery: Deliveries shall be sent in fewest loads that can be safely and reasonably accommodated. The Lee County Highway Department Business Manager or Shop Foreman shall be notified at least 24 hours prior to delivery at 815-857-4141. All materials shall be delivered to the Lee County Highway Department or to the project location(s) as specified by the Department (all delivery locations will be within the boundaries of Lee County, Illinois). All deliveries shall be made on weekdays (excluding county holidays) within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Lee County Highway Department is located at 1629 Lee Center Road in Amboy, Illinois 61310.
