SCOPE OVERVIEW/BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Austin-Bergstrom Airport Expansion and Development program (AEDP) seeks to construct the West Parking Garage to compensate for the anticipated loss of parking spaces due to closure of surface lots, the Red Garage's removal and address the escalating demand for parking at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), aligning with the airport's rapid growth trajectory. The project consists of a multi-level parking garage with an estimated capacity of approximately 7,700 spaces. This garage contemplates some of the spaces will be used for electric vehicles (EV).
