Roof Rehabilitation Under the Community Development Block Grant Program Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment and Federal labor standards to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. Bidders are responsible for their own measurements and takeoffs. 1) Remove all existing shingles. 2) Replace any rotten decking and rafters (if needed). 3) Install fifteen lb. felt and ninety lb. roll for valleys. 4) Install three-tab shingles (weather wood in color/manufactured by Tamko or Ownes Corning) 5) Install new wind turbines and pipe flashing. (use existing step flashing if it is usable and installed properly) 6) Provide 20-year Manufacturer's Warranty. 7) All debris and materials from the job must be placed on 6 mil plastic and moved to the edge of the road for City curbside pickup. Only materials and debris from the job will be picked up. After City picks up the bulk of the materials the contractor must return and sweep the property with a magnet wheel and pick up and remove any remaining debris.
