The City of Union Gap invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the SOUTH BROADWAY AREA SEWER EXTENSION (GSP PHASE 3) - ON-SITE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, HLA Project No. 20058 including the following approximate major quantities of work: Construction of the roadway including 2,500 TONS of crushed surfacing, 855 TONS HMA, 2,130 LF curb and gutter, 960 SY concrete sidewalk, 18 curb ramps, storm drainage, illumination, 760 LF 12-inch PVC water main, 330 LF 6-inch PVC water main, 4 butterfly valves, 21 gate valves, 5 hydrant assemblies, 1,030 LF 8-inch sewer main, 190 LF 6-inch sewer main, 5 manhole structures, 800 LF 8-inch irrigation main, and related improvements. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Union Gap for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Union Gap in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. The City of Union Gap reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Union Gap.
