Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Keyport, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Provide a design-build upgrade of existing duplex lift station KLS 102 and renovation of ~500 lf of gravity sewer. KLS 102 is a duplex submersible pump station housed in above grade pump house between Buildings 80 and 105. Inflow is received from two 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch gravity sewers, and then discharged through a 4-inch diameter force main. In general, work includes the following: Rehabilitation of pump wet well structural damage and application of a high build coating system, that will prevent further corrosion due to hydrogen sulfide gas. Epoxy grout repair of exposed and corroded steel reinforcement and around pipe penetrations will be required to mitigate further corrosion prior to coating. Replacement of existing pumps and controller to enhance the protection and performance of the lift station, Replacement of existing access ladder rungs, trash rack and maintenance access platform. Upgrading pump house ventilation, lighting and other electrical items to meet current standards. In addition, this project will repair two sections of underground gravity sewer pipe using trenchless method. Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs) .
