Sealed Bids For Ouachita Parish School Board Playground Equipment Parish Wide, 1600 North 7th Street, West Monroe, Louisiana 71291 All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, countersigned by a person who is under contract with the surety company or bond issuer as a licensed agent in this State and who is residing in this state. No Bid Bond indicating an obligation of less than five percent (5%) by any method is acceptable. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, and shall be countersigned by a person who is contracted with the surety company or bond issuer as agent of the company or issuer, and who is licensed as an insurance agent in this State, and who is residing in this State, in an amount equal to the 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section; and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.
