Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cornelia, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

No Bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State Law. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to install approximately 1,300 LF 24", 36", and 42" CPP storm pipe, 350 LF concrete sidewalk, and 600 LF concrete curb & gutter including, but not limited to storm structures, roadway replacement, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation. Time allotted for completion of work is 90 calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor for the installation and continuous maintenance of traffic control devices throughout the project. B. This item of work shall include furnishing, installing, maintaining, relocating and removing all traffic control devices used for the purpose of regulating, warning or directing traffic during the construction or maintenance of this project. C. Upon completion of work, warning devices are to be removed by the Contractor. If devices remain on site longer than ten (10) days after project completion, they shall be removed by the Owner and become his property. SCOPE OF WORK A. Work included in this section consists of, but is not limited to: the restoration of pavement (asphalt, concrete and granular), striping, driveways, concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalks, fences, mailboxes, walls, underground and above ground utilities, repair, replacement, stabilization and/or relocation. Restoration of the landscaping, i.e., shrubs, trees and grassing, is also part of this work. B. The CONTRACTOR shall visit the site prior to submitting a bid and become familiar with the existing conditions. No additional compensation or time extensions will be given due to the contractor's execution of the work described above. C. No separate payment will be made for work covered under this section unless there is a specific line item for it on the bid form. Costs should be included with the price bid for other items.
