**As of March 22th, 2024 project was awarded to Scarlett Excavating, awarded amount is $322,635.00.** Replacement of approximately 1,135 feet of six inch water main with new eight inch ductile iron main. Location of the new main is outside a newly paved road, underneath the edge of a residential sidewalk. o Installation of approximately 1,135 feet of eight (8) inch D.I. water main by open-cut or trenchless methods; o Reconnecting 18 copper water services; o Abandonment of approximately 1,135 feet of six (6) inch water main with flowable fill. Work on the project may commence any time after the Notice To Proceed is issued. Construction shall be completed by September 1, 2024. Completion is defined as being constructed, tested, placed in service, and the site restored DEPOSIT: 5% of bid amount The proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked Bid Proposal BLUE HAVEN WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT 2024 clearly indicating the name and address of the bidder, and filed at the place and by the time specified in the Advertisement Questions regarding this contract may be addressed to Meridian Township Department of Public Works & Engineering by phone at 517.853.4440, or by email at DPW@meridian.mi.us.
