The Agency is seeking bids from qualified, licensed and insured entities to provide the following detailed services listed herein: 2.1General Description of Services. The purpose of this IFB is to form pools of contractors that the Agency may draw from to contract for all phases of electrical-related work, including but not limited to: 2.1.1 High Voltage (or General) Electrical Work (LOT #1). High voltage; all phases of interior 110v and 220v electrical, including lighting; outlets; switches; breakers; timers; building service panels; site lighting; and any other related electrical work the Agency may order; and 2.1.2 Low Voltage Electrical Work (LOT #2). Security systems; Door Access Systems; Camera Systems; Alarm Systems; Telephone System; Intercom System; Control panels; and other low voltage devices as may be needed. 2.1.3 Emergency Services. Services are often needed on an emergency basis. Personnel must be able to respond within 1 hour of receiving emergency calls. This response shall abate the situation. Once the situation is abated, the Agency will be consulted as when best to complete the work. 2.1.4 Work Standards. It is the responsibility of each Contractor to ensure that each worker provided by the Contractor shall be fully trained and qualified to provide any assigned work. Accordingly, all work provided shall be guaranteed by the Contractor to be performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and/or regulations, including, but not limited to: Uniform Building Code (UBC); Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC); Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC); National Electric Code, 2014 (NEC).
