West County Wastewater District ("WCW") is seeking Quotes from qualified firms to provide services in the excavation and repair of an 8" VCP sewer pipe that has detached from an outside drop manhole. The project is located in the intersection of Rd. 20 and Giant Rd. in the City of San Pablo ("Work"), as further detailed in Attachment A, Scope of Work. Quotes will be received through WCW's eProcurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement, in accordance with the Solicitation Schedule below. Quotes must be submitted in the corresponding Quote Forms included with this RFQ. Background West County Wastewater ("WCW") is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide services in the excavation and repair of an 8" VCP sewer pipe that has detached from an outside drop manhole. The project is located in the intersection of Rd. 20 and Giant Rd. in the City of San Pablo. The drop line (MH 120101) is in the intersection and is approximately 14 feet deep when it enters the manhole. The external drop will be replaced with an inside drop connection in accordance with the WCW Construction Project Standard Details, as will all other aspects of the project. The Standard Details can be found on the WCW. Deadline for Questions: February 1, 2024, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline: February 7, 2024, 5:00pm Performance Period All Work must be completed within 30 Calendar days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Payment and Performance Bonds For all Agreements over $25,000, the successful Contractor must provide payment and performance bonds bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Grand Total Amount on the Quote Price Form and issued by a California admitted surety. Full compensation for furnishing the bonds is included in the Grand Total Amount.
