Renovation of a municipal facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The renovation includes the installation of bullet resistant panels and windows for the 1st floor water department and clerk's office and 2nd floor police department offices to include new finishes in office areas and halls, along with electrical changes, new millwork and limited mechanical and plumbing. Questions concerning the bid documents shall be directed to the office of the Architect, Corner Greer & Associates, Inc., 580.223.1341. A cashier's check, a certified check or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposals of each bidder, along with the required affidavits. The time of completion of the base bid construction of the Project has been set at one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with a liquidated damage of $500.00 per calendar day the project substantial completion exceeds the set completion date. The Bidder may not take exception to the time allowed to complete the work. Bids shall reflect the Bidder's price for providing all necessary labor, material, equipment, and supervision to fully complete the work from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The "Owner", City of Ardmore, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the City of Ardmore.
