On-Call Blower Inspection & Maintenance Services for Trade Services The Contractor shall furnish all necessary parts, labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to provide on-call Class I service and minor repairs, utilizing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Turblex parts. The Contractor shall be available for on-call minor repair services in the event of a mechanical issue or failure of any one of the blower units. The City of Oxnard Wastewater Treatment Plant (OWTP) located at 6001 Perkins Road in Oxnard utilizes an Activated Sludge Aeration Treatment process to break down organic materials within the waste stream. Five (5) Turblex High Speed Blowers, Model #KA5-V-GA200, are utilized to maintain dissolved oxygen levels in the Activated Sludge treatment process. The blower system was installed in the 1990’s as part of the OWTP North Area Expansion Project. The City desires to enter into an agreement for the inspection, maintenance and minor repair services of five (5) Turblex blowers at OWTP. The inspection and maintenance will include routine, recurring and usual work for the preservation of the blowers Contractor Required Licenses: Valid Class C-61/D-21 Contractor’s License issued by the State of California and DIR registration to be current and in good standing at the time of bid submission.
