The Cost Qualification Range for this work shall be $5,000,000.01 to $10,000,000.00 City Council of Baltimore and marked for GS23819 City Hall Roof and Dome Restoration Principal Items of work for this project are: General Conditions; Roofing-Slate Shingle; Copper; Standing-seam; Wood windows & Metal Frames Skylights; Painting and High-Performance Coatings The MBE goal is 19% The WBE goal is 11% *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 1. replace broken or improperly installed slates on all roofs. salvaged and reuse slates. 2. install new slate ridge cap & new slate hip cap at all slates roof areas. salvage and reuse. 3. install new copper caps on all mansard roofs. 4. remove all exposed slate repair hangers at mansard walls & roofs. replace with new method. 5. install fall protection posts on mansard roofs and near hatches. 6. new bases for 6 lighting banks assemblies, paint armature, install new electrical box. 7. replace 2 roof hatches at central roof. install fall protection. 8. cover abandoned hatch with new cap at central roof. 9. replace snow guards at area i (centeral roof), area n,t,p (above the courtyards only) and area f,b,h (above courtyards only). 10. replace downspout at courtyards. salvage and reuse all splash boxes. 11. replace box gutters on building perimeter. 12. replace internal copper gutters at all 4 mansard roofs. 13. replace copper step flashings at rake edges of small chimneys (area f,n) and around the vent shafts at courtyards. 14. all step flashings at brick walls need to be sealed around the edges, clean well ( at courtyards walls). 15. install new snow guards. 16. inspect all roofs to locate slates damages.
