Renovation of a municipal facility in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Replacement of the existing fire pump at the Clay County Administration Building. I acknowledge that I, the Contractor, have been provided an opportunity by the County to visit the site or have been informed that the site is open to the public, to insure that I am aware of all conditions that may affect the Contract work thereon and therein. Work includes but is not limited to the following: The Contractor will be responsible for all materials and labor to replace the old fire pump with a new UL Enterprise-listed (UL) and Fire Marshall approved fire pump compatible with the existing main controller. Equipment shall be installed in accordance with the applicable standards of the National Fire Protection Association and the manufacturer's specifications. The Contractor will mounted the pump on a steel base with 50 HP, 3600 RPM, 460v/3/60, ODP (Open Drip pump) motor that is rated for 750 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) @75 Pounds per Square Inch (PSI). The Contractor will Include new seals and gaskets, UL air release valve, UL casing relief valve and one (1) 5" x 6" 125-pound concentric discharge increaser. The Contractor responsible for startup complete with field acceptance flow test/final inspection with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (i.e. Fire Marshal, Building Inspectors, etc.) The successful Contractor shall maintain a credible work force daily to insure progress of the job. The successful Contractor shall utilize the services of licensed, insured Subcontractors and other craftsman knowledgeable of all phases as related to this project. The Contractor shall designate a foreman/superintendent who shall direct the work. An email address and cell number shall be provided upon receipt of notice to proceed. A superintendent or foreman shall be on the jobsite at all times when work is being performed. The successful Contractor shall supervise all workmanship, including that of all subcontractors, to ensure that it is of the highest grade and according to best standard practice. Any damage to existing utilities, building, finished surfaces, equipment, or public property or improvements, resulting from the performance of this contract shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the County at the successful Contractor's sole expense. The repair or replacement work shall be of equal or greater quality and in appearance to prior condition. If damage caused by the successful Contractor has to be repaired or replaced by the County, the cost of such work shall be deducted from the monies due the successful Contractor. Excess materials, rubbish, garbage, debris, etc., generated shall be disposed of by the successful Contractor daily at the successful Contractor's own expense. Any Contractor requiring removal is to be disposed of off-site in a safe and legal manner. The successful Contractor shall not stockpile debris, rubbish, garbage, excess materials or other unwanted materials on the sidewalk or on the street. Final completion shall be obtained within 30 days of receiving the equipment. The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the Contract.
