Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Abilene, Texas. Working plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

As of February 16, 2024 Project is Cancelled no definite date for the rebid. The Adventure Cove Pool Repair project will consist of the following: Pool Coping Repair: - Demo existing damaged coping and install new at Lazy River Pool Plaster Installation Lazy River: - Price should include a Bond Kote application to existing plaster. -Full or partial chip out does not appear necessary, however in the event chip out is required, a separate price will be provided. Pool Filter Sand Replacement: -Remove existing sand media and dispose of accordingly -Install new sand media for (6) Neptune-Benson SHFFG filtration system Misc: - Water chemistry and chemical startup by owner -New pool plaster to be brushed for a minimum of 14 days, twice a day, as a separate quote. -Job site cleanup and haul off to be included in project cost. Specifications: Plaster - Ultra Blue Quartz (15,485.00 SqFt) Pool Filter Sand Replacement - Silica Sand .45MM-.55MM (13.00 Tons) As determined by the City Manager, as delegated by the Abilene City Council pursuant to Resolution 62-2016, the City of Abilene will utilize the "best value" competitive bidding method in determining the award of the contract, as authorized by Chapter 2269, Texas Government Code. Bond Notes: . If Performance and Payment Bonds are required, the City will pay Contractor according to the General Conditions. If Performance and Payment Bonds are not required, the City will pay Contractor according to the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bond information is found in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must comply with specifications. All bids must remain open for 60 days after bid opening. Bid Notes: The City will return unopened any bid received after bid closing time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after closing deadline in the Council Chambers - Abilene City Hall, 555 Walnut, Abilene, Texas. Owner Rights : The City will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who provides the "best value" to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities and technicalities. Bid Security : Bid security is not required. Bid Submission: Bids by Partnerships must be timely submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope, marked with the project title and name and address of the bidder and other required documents. The City will return late bids unopened, and will not consider them. Prevailing Wage Rates: The minimum prevailing wage rates for the performance of this contract are attached as Exhibit A. Said exhibit shall become a part of the Contract Document. For federally funded projects, wage rates must comply with Federal Law. All Bids Must Substantially Comply With Specifications.
