Site work for a civil project in Lower Lake, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Provide professional architectural and engineering design for the above project. This project includes, but is not limited to, Repair and replacement of site water laterals and the installation of gate valves in yard boxes for eight (8) buildings. Replace existing water storage tanks for both the fire suppression and domestic water supply. This portion of the work needs to be phased to allow for the continued operation of the facility and the fire and life safety systems on the camp site. Replace the existing tanks (four (4) Concrete Tanks, one (1) Corrugated Metal Fire Water Tank) with two (2) each 60,000-gallon steel water tanks. Separate the irrigation line from the existing domestic / fire water distribution system. Replace the existing potable water treatment system. This also needs to be phased to allow for the continued operation of the camp site and minimize the down time for the sanitary sewer system. Portable showers and restrooms may be required to complete this scope of work. Replace the existing wastewater treatment plant. Relocate the existing canopy over the existing wastewater treatment plant to the new plant location. Sawcut, remove and replace existing asphalt paving at water and irrigation line repairs. Construct asphalt paved access road to the new wastewater treatment plant location. Selective Demolition as required to complete all scopes of work. Hazardous materials are likely to be present. The estimated cost of construction for the project contract value is $ 5,600,000.00. The estimated duration of this contract will be 2.5 years. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
