CHP Cache Creek Platform Scales HVAC Replacement Purpose and Description of Services The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide HVAC Replacement Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, "Scope of Work" that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. This IFB is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements. BONDS If the contract price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), the Contractor shall furnish an original payment bond and a duplicate copy to accompany the contract in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the contract amount exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. Agreement Term The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Questions Due July 5, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m.
