Renovation of a transportation facility in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The current tender is addressing issues at the VIA St-Hyacinthe Station. Built in 1899 and designated a Heritage railway station, the Saint-Hyacinthe station is a single-storey brick building, supported by stones and concrete foundation walls. Work entails the reinforcement of the foundation walls, locally rebuild the masonry, replace some doors and windows, and the HVAC upgrade. The work must be completed within 20 calendar weeks after project award. General Contractor must have a minimum of 10 years' experience as well as a minimum of 5 years experience in Heritage properties. Subcontractors must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in their related expertise of work.
