Renovation of a water / sewer project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Any questions or clarifications concerning these specifications should be in writing and directed to the Purchasing Division at purchasing@joliet.gov. Prospective bidders are required to complete and submit a technical prequalification questionnaire with supporting documents to the City of Joliet (see Instructions to Bidders). Technical prequalification forms will be provided with bidding documents. Completed forms are to be submitted no later than 10:00 A.M. local time on February 20, 2024. The City of Joliet, Illinois, does hereby invite sealed bids for the replacement of MCCs at the City's Eastside WWTP and the water SCADA system as specified in the Eastside WWTP MCC Replacement and AWSP, JOL0801-SCADA System Upgrades project. The work consists of replacing four MCCs at the City's Eastside WWTP, PLC upgrades at the Eastside and Aux Sable WWTPs, and replacing existing Bristol-Babcock Controlwave Micro controllers at approximately 33 sites, including the master, with Allen Bradley controllers, replacing miscellaneous instruments at several sites, and reconfiguring the existing 4RF Aprisa SR+ licensed frequency radios from serial to Ethernet communication Question Deadline 02/22/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing.
