Temporary Personnel Services Architect PROJECT BACKGROUND The primary purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to award a contract(s) to vendor(s) that will provide high-quality temporary service personnel at a reasonable and competitive cost whose proposed candidate(s) will substantially perform the Scope of Work, as described within Section 3 of this RFP. The selected candidate(s) will be working in the Real Estate Finance Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "REF") of the OAG with Business and Law professionals and shall be available to provide services during the OAG hours listed in section 8.9, for up to thirty five (35) hours per week for potentially up to a six-month period with options to renew. The OAG reserves the right to shorten or extend the term of services at its sole discretion. The OAG anticipates making one award but may at its discretion make up to two awards pursuant to the solicitation. AGENCY BACKGROUND INFORMATION As head of the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), the Attorney General is both the "People's Lawyer" and the State's chief legal officer. The New York State Attorney General serves as one of the four statewide officials elected by popular vote. The Attorney General serves as the chief guardian of the legal rights of the citizens of New York, its businesses, and its natural resources. In their role as the State's chief legal counsel, the Attorney General is responsible for supervising the State government's legal affairs. The Attorney General not only advises the Executive branch of State government, but also prosecutes and defends all actions and proceedings on behalf of, and against, the State. Questions and/or clarification requests will only be accepted via email and in writing and should be submitted to the following email address: purchase@ag.ny.gov CONTRACT AWARD PERIOD The agreement term for awards resulting from this RFP will be 6 months with options to renew.
