The City is seeking to purchase a prefabricated all steel building 50' wide by 100' in length, or 5,000 square feet, to be used as an aircraft hangar at the heliport facility operated by the Pasadena Police Department's Air Operations Center located at 2175 N. Yucca Lane, Altadena, CA. 5,000 Square Foot Prefabricated Steel Building 5,000 square foot (50' x 100' exterior) prefabricated all steel structure, twenty-one feet (21') in height; Straight walls with a gable or single slope roof; Clear span without interior support columns; Water-resistant and waterproof with roof drainage and roof insulation; Non-reflective finishes on exterior building surfaces including roof. Painted wood or other materials shall not be used. No galvanized metal on exterior of building; Building shall not have skylights, fans, ventilation, or insulation in walls; Two large door openings. Both doors to be located on one wall along the 100' length; Two standard pedestrian doors, one each on either side of the 50' width. The deadline to submit questions related to this solicitation is Friday, February 16, 2024, prior to 5:00 pm. The initial term of the contract resulting from these Specifications shall be for one year from the date of execution by the City. No optional extension periods will be included with this contract.
