The Lafayette Consolidated Government strongly encourages the participation of DBEs (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) in all contracts or procurements let by the Lafayette Consolidated Government for goods and services and labor and material. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize DBEs in the purchase or sub- contracting of materials, supplies, services and labor and material in which disadvantaged businesses are available. Bidders must complete the following vendor information in order for quotation to be considered and evaluated and how it must be shown on a purchase order (if award is made to your company). The services under this agreement is to provide 1 (one) major inspection per year and 1 (one) minor inspection per year per the attached inspection form. A list of generators to bid on is attached. Vendor shall supply a one-year agreement. The award will be based on a 1 (one) year total of generators bid and at management directive and based on available funding can be extended for an additional year with vendor approval. In the event that supplies are needed to replace worn items, then LCG will have to buy the items through our normal purchasing procedures before vendor bills for labor and materials to fix the problem. This excludes those items like oil and filters that are part of the major inspection. The successful vendor should be capable to responding to emergency help with the generators in the event of a hurricane or ice storm, if the need arises. LCG reserves the right to increase or decrease inspections services on Generators. Vendor shall send a written quotation mutually agreed upon.
