Dane County Department of Administration, Public Works Engineering Division will receive Bids electronically Dane County is inviting Bids for construction services to redevelop the existing plaza including site demolitions, excavations, utilities, cast-in-place retaining wall, hardscaping, electrical, and stormwater improvements. Only firms with capabilities, experience & expertise with similar projects should obtain this Request for Bids (RFB) document & submit Bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bank certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, made payable to Dane County. Question Submission Deadline: February 23, 2024, 5:00pm Emerging Small Business (ESB) Goal. The goal of this project is ten percent (10%) ESB participation. ESBs utilizations are shown as a percentage of the total Bid. Emerging Small Business Involvement. Bidder shall make good faith effort to award minimum of ten percent (10%) of the Work to ESBs. Good faith effort means significant contact with ESBs for purposes of soliciting bids from them. Failure to make or demonstrate good faith efforts will be grounds for disqualification.
