Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evesham, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project "FY 2022 NJDOT Safe Streets to Transit Pedestrian Improvements to North Maple Avenue" consists of the installation of guide rail on North Maple Avenue located in the Township of Evesham, Burlington County, New Jersey. 1. Installation of Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick where indicated on the plans. 2. A 5'x5' passing space shall be constructed every 200' or less of sidewalk as indicated on the plans. 3. Installation of ADA compliant ramps where indicated on the plans. 4. Installation of Hot Mix Asphalt Driveway, 4" Thick where indicated on the plans. 5. Installation of Retaining Wall as indicated on the plans. The contractor shall confirm the locations and layout of the retaining walls with the engineer prior to construction. 6. Traffic Stripes, 6" and Traffic Stripes 24" to be installed as indicated on the plans. 7. Topsoil, fertilizer, and seed will be placed in all disturbed areas. Area affected by the proposed work will be regraded. Topsoil shall conform to the Standards of Section 804, herein, or better. 8. All related incidental work, including traffic control, dust control, soil erosion, and sediment control, cleaning, and restoration as necessary. 9. The contractor shall visit the site and include all ofthe costs for a complete project. The owner is not responsible for additional costs based on the contractor's failure to properly inspect the existing conditions, field verify all dimensions and include all costs in the bid. Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY The Township of Evesham reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Township of Evesham, in accordance with applicable law. Bids must be on the bid form prepared by Remington & Vernick Engineers, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. It is the bidder's responsibility to see that bids are presented to the Township no later than, or prior to, the hour designated and at the place designated. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed; however, the Township disclaims any responsibility for bids forwarded by regular or overnight mail. If the bid is sent by overnight mail, the project name must also appear on the outside of the delivery company envelope. Absent an immediate and legally cognizable explanation for a late bid, bids received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. Said bids shall be addressed to Rebecca Andrews, Acting Township Clerk and shall be delivered on or before the hour named above to the Clerk's Office. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Township of Evesham in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Township of Evesham in a lawful manner. The contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary moneys to do the work have been provided by the Township of Evesham in a lawful manner. The award shall further be subjected to the securing of necessary State, Federal or Local permits governing the work. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.(New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. S12101, et seq.). The contractor is further notified that he must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25- 24.2, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid. The contractor is further notified that he must comply with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. Public Works Contractor Registration Act and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with the act. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and submit proof of business registration and submit proof of business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. Should Interested Bidders Not Have the Ability to Handle Electronic Download Sets, a Set May Be Arranged to Be Sent Overnight by Calling 856 795 9595. No Bids Are to Be Picked Up at the Engineer's Office or at the Municipality Offices. Payment Must Be Received Prior to Obtaining Said Specifications. No Bids Are to Be Dropped Off at the Engineer's Office.
