Site work and paving for a civil project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of March 12, 2024, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The City of Quincy's MR 674 Project consists of reconstructing South 21st Street from Harrison Street to Jackson. Work includes 776 tons of hot-mix asphalt, 1477 feet of combination curb & gutter, 266 feet of storm sewers, 463 feet of 6" water main, and related improvements. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
