Renovation of a stadium in Oakville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Town of Oakville to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Sixteen Mile Video Scoreboard Upgrade. The current video scoreboard is slowly deteriorating with issues such as LED brightness levels, corroding circuit boards, broken pixels on the screen and overall outdated technology. New technology will provide the venue with additional avenues for advertising and marketing to boast those revenue streams, will allow for seamless integration with gymnasium scoreboard in the new community centre, and, most notably, will allow the facility to continue attracting events that provide rental revenue streams and positive national exposure for Oakville. The project will entail the removal of the old, suspended Scoreboard at Sixteen Mile, Rink 1 as well as the operation system in the Video Operation Booth. A new suspended Multi-Purpose Scoreboard will be installed on Rink 1 as well as a new Operation system in the Video Operation booth.
