The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power invites electronic bids for Construction of the Western Trunk Line - Phase 2A, located in Los Angeles, California, in accordance with Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 8020. Question Deadline 02/16/2024 at 2:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted through electronically. Submit your questions using the Q & A chat box. Questions will be addressed during Q & A Session Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or a surety bond as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the proposed contract if awarded. If the bidder elects to submit a bid bond (surety bond) in lieu of a check, the bidder shall submit a surety bond issued by a responsible corporate surety company in an amount not less than 10 percent of the aggregate sum of the proposal. Individual sureties will not be considered as meeting the requirements of this Article and therefore will not be accepted. The bidder is required to have an active "Class A" California Contractor's License at the time of bid submittal. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. Proposals shall be subject to acceptance within a period of 90 calendar days after date of bid closing. The LADWP reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
