1.01 SCOPE of WORK Tank Information: East Tank: The structure is a 250,000-gallon elevated water storage tank with a low-water level of 102 ft. 5 in. located at 209 N. 4 th Street in Centerville, Indiana. West Tank: The structure is a 250,000-gallon elevated water storage tank with a high-water level of 119 ft. 4 in. located at 407 Short Street in Centerville, Indiana. The work includes: East Tank: Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard with containment. Apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Foundation: Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Mixer: Install a mechanical mixer. Repairs: 1) Install riser manway. 2) Replace the wet interior roof hatch. 3) Overflow discharge modification. 4) Replace the exterior overflow pipe supports. 5) Install a fall prevention device on the wet interior ladder. 6) Install a roof/sidewall platform. 7) Ladder cage removal and install a vandal guard. 8) Balcony drain holes. 9) Install a swing gate at the balcony opening. 10) Replace roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent 11) Install cathodic clips and pressure fitting. 12) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 13) Install bowl rigging couplings. 14) Install a riser handrail. 15) Adjust the loose sway rods. 16) Remove the damaged section of the wet interior painter's railing. 17) Remove an abandoned antenna cable. West Tank: Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi) and spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Cathodic Protection: Install an impressed current cathodic protection system. Repairs: 1) Install a gasket on the wet interior roof hatch. 2) Install handholds at the roof hatch. 3) Overflow discharge modification. 4) Adjust the fall prevention device on the leg ladder. 5) Remove the bottom section of the leg ladder. 6) Install a roof/sidewall platform. 7) Balcony drain holes. 8) Balcony access modification. 9) Replace roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent. 10) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 11) Install bowl rigging couplings. 12) Adjust the loose sway rods. 13) Install a wet interior ladder
