The Orlando Housing Authority is seeking bids from Florida state-certified Contractors (General, Building, Residential) to provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, permits, inspections, and associated fees to complete the remediation of a two-apartment, single-story building located at 1801 & 1803 Jackson Street, Orlando Florida (Reeves Terrace Apartments, building 47), which was damaged by a severe termite infestation. All questions pertaining to this IFB must be submitted in writing to Liza Martinez @ liza.martinez@orl-oha.org by Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 2:00 PM EST. The Contractor shall commence work under the ensuing contract on a date to be specified within the Notice to Proceed (NTP) form issued by the Agency and shall fully complete all work thereunder within 120 calendar days of execution of the NTP. Liquidated Damages. The contractor must always maintain their construction schedule; if the Contractor fails to maintain this construction schedule, he/she will be charged with liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per day. Right to Reject, Waive, or Terminate the IFB. Reject any or all bids to waive any informality in the IFB process or to terminate the IFB process at any time if deemed by the Agency to be in its best interests.
