Renovation of a municipal facility in Madison Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Remove and replace all broken bricks in original patten whare needed. The contractor is encouraged to utilize cleaned salvaged brick when possible. Apply a commercial grade waterproofing that penetrates and chemically bonds deep within the masonry substrate to provide long-lasting protection against water-related staining or deterioration. That will not darken or produce a surface film or impair the natural breathing characteristics of treated surfaces. The contractor is responsible for site safety of the public and employees. The contractor is responsible for removal of construction debris, the contractor may ask for assistance from the township. This project is in conjunction with a window and door replacement project, it is encouraged to coordinate and deliberate with window and door replacement project contractor for the betterment of the township The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in favor of Madison Township, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, and related matters. Madison Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process.
