Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Hardin, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

As of February 21, 2024 this project was awarded to TCA Group Inc but the awarded amount is not available. All laborers and mechanics employed by Contractor or Subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as required by the laws of Big Horn County and the State of Montana. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to Big Horn County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. This project is funded in part or in whole with grant/loan funding from Montana Coa Endowment Program. Bids may only be withdrawn as provided in Section 16.02 of the Instructions to Bidders after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best in- terest of the Owner. Bids received after the stipulated time shall be returned unopened. The project consists of The construction of a new single-span premanufactured steel modular bridge, 80-ft x 24-ft, on Randall Road over the Two Leggins Canal, in Big Horn County, Montana. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to, substructure construction, superstructure construction, road approach construction, and removal and disposal of an existing bridge. The superstructure consists of a pre-manufactured steel modular bridge with preassembled guardrail. The beams will be founded on reinforced concrete caps (or concrete cap abutments) supported by driven steel piles with a pre-manufactured steel backwalls.
