Roof Anchor Upgrades and Additions at the Durham County Justice Building The work contemplated will include removal of vegetated roof overburden, roofing membrane and insulation, and metal decking to allow for installation of new fall protection anchors and upgrading existing fall protection anchors, installation of new roof insulation and roof membranes, installation of vegetated roof overburden and installation of fire resist materials on the underside of the roof decking and structural components. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE).
