Backflow Valve Replacement Services: SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), with backflow valve replacement services as described herein. The services shall be performed at BAR’s Sacramento Forensic Documentation Lab, located at 10233 Systems Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95827. The services shall be performed during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (PST), Monday through Friday, excluding State-observed holidays. Payment Bond: When the contract price exceeds $25,000, the Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond to the DCA upon notification of the contract award in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price securing payment for laborers, mechanics and material suppliers used on the work under contract. Payment Bonds to accompany the contract must be preparedon forms furnished by the State (Std. Form 807). Performance Bond: A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) must accompany every contract involving a bid in excess of $10,000 and if progress payments will be made (See Exhibit B, Article IV. Progress Payments).
