The West Side Parking Lots & Playgrounds Seal & Stripe for the VESD West Side Campuses and Ed Service location consists of crack filling, slurry coat and restriping on the parking lots and playgrounds as highlighted on the maps. Project also includes grinding of asphalt, removal & replacement of asphalt and crack-fill/crack-repair in some areas and repainting of all curbs. Bids shall be received in the place identified above and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. Each Bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. Prequalification is not a required element for bidding on this project as a prime contractor or subcontractor. The District has obtained from the Director of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract. Such rates are on file at the District Office. No bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of bids. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active A, B or C12 License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor s California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder s proposal. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be made out on the form contained in the bid documents. Bid forms shall be sealed in a plain envelope with the name of the bidder and the name of the project marked plainly on the face of the envelope and filed with the said Board of Trustees prior to the 02:00:00 P.M., March 5, 2024, deadline and will be opened and publicly read aloud shortly thereafter on that day in the office of the said Board of Trustees.
