Demo and repour 40 x 60 concrete pad, 12 inches thick located at the county transfer station using 7200psi and high early concrete. The contractor will need to use wire and # 8 rebar that will need to be double stacked at 4 inches when repouring. Concrete will need to be pumped into place. Two 6-inch bollards will need to be reset at the corners of the building. The contractor is responsible for disposal and costs associated with demolition. Concrete to be finished broom style. Work completion time frame: Transfer station will close on a Thursday at 14:30 (2:30 p.m.), will be closed Friday, and reopen on the following Monday at 8:00 a.m. All work will need to be completed prior to Monday at 8:00 a.m. No Pre-bid Questions Due: Friday, February 2, 2024 | 10:00 a.m. Addenda Due: Tuesday, February 6, 2024 | 2:00 p.m. The County of Currituck, North Carolina requests bids for the demolition and repour of concrete pad located at Currituck County Transfer Station, 216 Airport Road, Maple, North Carolina.
