A. The contract connection with Project No. 22108.02 includes the proposed complete work designated as Police Department Garage, West Haven, CT. B. Verbal Summary of the Work: Without force and effect on requirements of the Contract Documents, the work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. New building. 2. Site grading, utilities, pavement, and landscaping. 1.3 This project includes work which may be affected by existing conditions. Existing conditions which may affect the Work may be discovered during the progress of the Work. Make adjustments in the Work as required to accommodate existing conditions. 1. The Architect will issue prompt instructions when unanticipated conditions are encountered. B. Contractor agrees to accept site as indicated and to remove encumbrances which interfere with proper fulfillment of his work without change in Contract Sum. The City of West Haven (here after referred to as the City) is seeking proposals from National Steel Building Manufacturers for the construction of a detached, three bay garage, located at 200 Saw Mill Road in West Haven, CT. This will be a Butler Building. All questions regarding this Request for Proposals should be directed to Tammy O'Connell, Procurement Specialist, by e-mail at toconnell@westhaven-ct.gov. The RFI (Request for Information) deadline is Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 2:00pm
