The project includes the construction for Woodbine Road widening to an urban roadway typical section with 11-ft travel lanes (two northbound, two southbound), curb and gutter, divided median, and 6-foot sidewalks starting near the intersection of Limbaugh Lane and extending south to Highway 90. The construction will include roadway improvements on Woodbine Road and Highway 90, drainage improvements with a new stormwater pond, signing/pavement markings, signalization upgrades, traffic control and other activities provided in the project documents. All construction work within the travel lanes of Woodbine Road or Highway 90 must be completed at night. Work within the right-of-way or offsite may be performed during the day. The County prefers electronic submission of bids and proposals. By way of the e-Procurement Portal, responses will be locked and digitally encrypted until the submission deadline passes. Any submittals mailed or hand delivered must be accompanied by an electronic copy included in the response envelope. All submittals must be sealed, clearly labeled with the title: Woodbine Road/Highway 90 Intersection Improvements and received by Procurement staff, prior to 10:00 am on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
