Withdrawal of Response: A respondent may withdraw its response at any time prior to the closing date and time for the solicitation. The respondent's request to withdraw its response must be made in writing on company letterhead Bid Award and Evaluation: The City has established the award basis for this solicitation as the vendor providing the "Best Value" to the City. Best Value can be defined as the vendor providing the highest level of competency based on a predetermined evaluation criteria. The evaluation criteria for this proposal is as follows: Payment & Performance Bond Requirements A Payment and Performance Bond is being requested for this project. Sec. 2253.021.(1) & (2) of the Local Government Code states that all public works contract in excess of $50,000.00 require a Payment Bond and all public works contracts above $100,000.00 require a Performance Bond. Payment and Performance bonding will be for 100% of the total awarded contract
