Wave Transit System Bus Stop Sign, Installation, Replacement and Field Maintenance This will be a two (2) year contract with an option for three (3) additional one (1) year term. Notification to Proceed (Estimated) Thursday, March 7, 2024. Contract Commencement (Estimated) Monday, March 11, 2024. Question Deadline: 02/01/2024 at 5:00 PM CT, RFP Issue (Available on online ) .Approved Equals/Clarification Response Friday, February 9, 2024, by 5:00p.m. (CST) . Interviews (If Needed) Wednesday, February 28, 2024. The Wave Transit System (The Wave), the public transportation provider for the City of Mobile, Alabama, is seeking proposals from qualified bidders for the installation of bus route signs and fields maintenance to existing bus stops on an "as-need" basis in the service area. Bus stop locations may include but not limited to passenger benches, trash receptacles and one or more bus stop signs. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE's) are encouraged to apply. The Wave Transit System reserves the right to reject all proposals without cause or make awards based on the quality of proposals and in the best interest of The Wave Transit System.
