The Town of Glenville (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Build a performance area composed of a timber frame pavilion, exterior lighting, stone dust paths, lawn space, and landscaping. Earthwork to form a screening berm, a flat performance area, and necessary surface drainage. Nine flagpoles are to be installed along with landscape lights to illuminate the flags. The pavilion will also be electrified. A stone dust path will wrap around the performance area and join with an existing stone dust trail system. Legacy Park Performance Area Lump Sum Bids are requested for the following Contract: General Construction. Deadline for questions is 12:00 PM on February 8, 2024. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing via email. The Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner, reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation. All site work shall be completed upon or before May 24, 2024. The timber frame pavilion shall be substantially completed on or before July 1, 2024, and ready for final payment by August 1, 2024.
