This project is to repair the exterior masonry envelope of Ivy Tech Community College- Indianapolis' North Meridian Center building. The site address is 50 W Fall Creek Parkway N Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46208. The focus of these masonry repairs is the portico on the south facade of the North Meridian Center. 1. Masonry repairs to limestone. 2. Masonry cleaning. 3. Remove and replace traffic bearing membrane. 4. Concrete repairs. 5. Cement plaster repair and painting. 6. Replace cast iron drain pipe. Question Deadline 02/12/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Deadline to submit Questions online. Anticipated start of construction: Weather permitting April / early May 2024. Installation will need to be carefully coordinated with campus for class scheduling with two-week look ahead sequencing with potentially no work times during finals/commencement. Anticipated substantial completion: October 1, 2024. Demobilization and site restored: November 1, 2024. All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified or cashiers' check made payable to Ivy Tech Community College. This will be a guarantee that the bidder selected by the Owner will furnish the required PLM Bonds; failure to do so could mean forfeiture of the Bid Security. All bidders must indicate, where shown on the Proposal Form, the cost of Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive all irregularities in Proposals. Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) days from date of Bid Opening. Pre bid meeting description: Firms attending the Pre-Bid Meeting will receive a written questionnaire regarding their qualifications and experience to perform such work. Potential bidders will be notified by Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST whether they will be allowed to submit a bid for this work. Intent to Bid Due Date: Feb 7th 2024, 5:00 PM EST PERFORM ALL MASONRY REPAIRS AT THE SOUTH PORTICO AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. REMOVE AND REPLACE TRAFFIC-BEARING MEMBRANE AT THE PORTICO BALCONY. REMOVE AND REPLACE INDICATED SECTION OF INTERNAL DRAIN PIPE ABOVE COLONNADE SOFFIT. PERFORM CEMENT PLASTER REPAIRS AT THE COLONNADE SOFFIT.
