Scholl Canyon Landfill Flare Station Improvements Working Days: 520 Dollar Range: Approx. $3,900,000 - $5,600,000 The proposed project will construct two (2) new ultra-low emission flares and appurtenant equipment at SCLF to meet the more stringent emission standards imposed by Southern California Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1118.1. The flares will be pre-purchased by the District and will be supplied to the Contractor as District-furnished equipment for installation. The selected flares will utilize Best Available Control Technology (BACT) to meet the SCAQMD regulations and the pre-purchase procurement method was selected to meet SCAQMD's regulatory compliance deadline. The project will also include construction of the associated equipment foundations, electrical and instrumentation systems, mechanical piping, and civil site improvements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
