Tricentennial Park is an urban park in Albany, New York built to commemorate the city's three hundredth anniversary as an incorporated city. The half-acre park was built in 1986 and is a popular gathering place for city residents and downtown workers. Dedicated to Mayor Erastus Corning II, the park is the home to statues, monuments and a time capsule scheduled to be opened in 2086. The park encompasses the entire block bounded by Broadway to the east, Columbia Street to the north, James Street to the west, and Steuben Street to the south.
