DPW HVAC VRF Project The Town of Dedham is accepting sealed bids for the DPW HVAC Project (Rebid). Bid package will be available beginning Wednesday April 24th, 2024 and may be obtained at the Town Manager's Office, 450 Washington St, Dedham, MA 02026, 3rd floor for a $50 non-refundable fee, or online. Selection of the contractor will be based upon bidder qualifications, including evidence of past performance in similar projects, and bid price. The contract will be awarded to the bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The Town of Dedham is an affirmative action/equal opportunity owner/purchaser. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities. The Work consists of addition of a VRF simultaneous heating & cooling system, the removal of three split DX hot water heating indoor air handling units with roof-mounted condensers, the removal of exhaust fans (Both roof and sidewall interior), and the introduction of an indoor energy recovery ventilator with electric pre-heat coil, downstream DX coil and associated VRF condensing unit, and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Architect/Engineer, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
