Custom Designed Metal shelving for OFC Rescue Trailer Specifications:
# Shelving to accommodate rescue equipment and materiel carried in a
response trailer designed for technical rescue activities. Government of Manitoba looking for custom shelving to be built and
installed. Successful proponent will build and install the custom
shelving. Trailer Will be provided to successful proponent to do the
final design and installation.
Dimensions and Requirements for custom shelving: ·,,Two custom aluminum lumber racks accessible from rear of trailer ·,,Dimensions are: o,,Width - 24" (inside)
o,,Height - 8'
o,,Length - 16'
·,,Must be able to accommodate:
o,,12 trench rescue panels which consist of a 4" x 8" x 5/8" engineered
wood panel with a 2" x 12" x 12' LVL backer on center (LVL: laminated
veneer lumber)
o,,12 sheets of 4" x 8" x ¾" Plywood
o,,10 x 7" x 7" x 16' LVL beams (note these are actual dimensions, not
nominal)
o,,6 x 4" x 6" x 16' posts
o,,6 x 4" x 4" x 16' posts
o,,6 x 2" x 12" 16' boards (note these are actual dimensions, not
nominal)
o,,10 x 2" x 4" x 16' boards
·,,Must have removable brace to allow for loading and unloading of
panels and lumber and be capable of securing the load in the rack
safely.
·,,Top must be enclosed to provide additional storage for ladders,
rescue baskets and miscellaneous supplies.
·,,Top must have removable bar to allow for loading and unloading of
equipment.
