The City of Greenville Public Works Department Buildings & Grounds Division is accepting bids for the Municipal Building Improvements - New Office Construction. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, providing labor and materials to construct new offices in the Municipal Building. Provide labor to remove the existing knee wall including the wallpaper. Build new walls with 3 5/8" light gauge metal framing and apply 5/8" gypsum wall board with a level 4 finish. Install new doors, frames, and hardware to match existing. Repair, rework and install new HVAC supply and returns and reroute existing HVAC supply and returns. Lighting, electrical outlets, data infrastructure and conduit in newly constructed offices and other areas are to be installed. Reconfigure existing ceiling grids and install new lay-in ceiling tiles to match existing. All work is to be in accordance with current NC Building Code. Submittals for approval will be required for this project. All labor and materials necessary to complete the scope of work shall be included. All work will be performed during normal business hours (7AM-5PM) and may include weekend work with prior approval and coordination with city Staff. This scope will not include the mail kiosk, storage and back desk, cubicles, counters, cabinets and desk with counter at this time.
