**As of March 22,2024 project was awarded to Willkomm Excavating, awarded amount is $2,883,130.72.** This project, officially known as Hillendale Drive Reconstruction, involves installation of a 12-inch diameter PVC water main, fittings, hydrants, valves, water service installation, storm sewer installation, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, landscaping restoration, asphalt muti use pathway, traffic control, and erosion control. All work is included in a single prime contract. Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. All Bidders must submit a prequalification form regardless of previous submittal of similar forms. City of Muskego reserves the right to accept the most advantageous bid, or to reject any and all bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bond Notes: Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Muskego equal to five percent of the bid. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Muskego as liquidated damages per Wisconsin Statues. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening date. Liquidity Damages: Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Prequalification of Bidders is required. Statement of Bidder's Qualifications form will be issued with the Bid Documents. Installation of approximately 3,700 of 8-inch and 12-inch PVC water main in Hillendale Drive (from the intersection of Racine Avenue to 30 ft north of the east ROW line of Sunny Hill Drive). Installation of hydrant branch assemblies and valves. Restoration of lawn. Pavement removal and replacement for the entire reconstruction limits. Installation of concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement binder and surface course, asphalt multiuse path, and asphalt and concrete driveways, and limestone base aggregate. Installation of reinforced concrete and polyethylene storm sewer, installation of storm inlets and manholes. Grading of roadside ditches, and rough and fine grading of the proposed BMP stormwater pond.
