LCG intends to hire a contractor to provide and install 6 new ACME Exhaust fans for the pool area at Earl J. Chris Pool. The contractor should provide labor, materials, and all equipment necessary to install these fans. The scope of work will include disconnecting, removing, and disposal of the existing fans, installation of new wall collars and weather hoods for the new exhaust fans, installing the new exhaust fans, reconfiguration of wiring to work with the new fans, and the checking and inspection of the new fans for proper operation. Each quote shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Lafayette Consolidated Government, the amount of which shall be five percent (5%) of the base price plus additive alternates. Electronic copies of both the front and back of the check or bid bond shall be included with the electronic bid. If a contractor fails to provide the original hard copies of the bid documents within 48 hours of the bid opening. their bid shall be considered non-responsive.
